Who we are

What data we collect, and why
Enquiries. Through the contact form we collect what you choose to send us: your name, email address, what kind of project you are looking for, a description of it, your approximate budget range, and your timeline. We use it for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f)).
Visit statistics and ad measurement — only with your consent. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records how you use this site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether you sent an enquiry), and Google Ads uses this to tell us whether our ads led to an enquiry. The contents of your enquiry are never sent to Google. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Anonymous traffic statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Who processes it
- FormSubmit relays your form submission to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and, like any host, processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site; loading them discloses your IP address to Google.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) process visit and ad-measurement data, only if you have accepted cookies. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We do not sell, share or otherwise disclose your data to anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing.
Cookies
On your first visit we ask whether you accept cookies. Until you accept, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (names starting with _ga, kept for up to 2 years) and Google Ads may set measurement cookies (such as _gcl_au, kept for up to 90 days). Your choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: open cookie settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry and any follow-up conversation, and no longer than two years after our last exchange — unless we enter into a business relationship, in which case the data becomes part of that relationship’s records.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of its processing, or object to it, and you have the right to data portability. Write to freeform.ourcollective@gmail.com and we will act on it without undue delay.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu) or your local supervisory authority.
